Common questions
How do I delete my account?
In Echo, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Your backup, friend code and friends are deleted from our servers right away. Everything on your phone stays, so you can keep using Echo without an account.
How do I cancel Echo Prime?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel Prime.
Can I get a refund?
Apple and Google handle payments and refunds. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use Google Play’s refund request. You keep any refund rights the law gives you where you live.
I got a new phone. How do I get my Echo back?
If you signed in on your old phone, install Echo on the new one, open Settings, then Account, and sign in with the same Apple or Google account. Prime comes back with Restore purchases. Without an account, Echo lives only on the old phone.
Is what I tell Echo private?
Your habits, journal, moods and memories are stored on your phone. To answer you, Echo sends what it needs for that moment to our AI and voice providers, who don’t keep it for training. There are no ads and nothing is sold. The Privacy Policy has every detail.
Echo can’t hear me, or doesn’t answer.
Check that Echo has microphone permission in your phone’s settings and that you’re online. Talking needs an internet connection. If it still doesn’t work, write to us and tell us your phone model.
My reminders or alarm didn’t go off.
Make sure notifications for Echo are on, Focus or Do Not Disturb isn’t silencing them, and Low Power Mode is off. Always keep a backup alarm for anything important.
